LA PLATA.-  The remarkable winning streak of Stud Pauli found another stop this Friday—this time at La Plata—where the stable’s silks were carried to a new highlight by Silencio Dramático, a commanding winner of the Handicap Haras La Biznaga(1400 m, fast dirt), the feature race of the day.

Coming off conditional company, where Hit Colchonero (Hit It a Bomb) had snapped a three-race winning streak, the son of Grand Reward made the most of his mid-scale impost and the hot early tempo to assert himself decisively through the stretch.

As expected, El Patio (Il Campione, 59 kg) went straight to the lead under pressure from Payucano (Mask, 60½ kg). With early fractions of :23.15 and :45.38, the torrid pace inevitably took its toll.

Entering the stretch, while the frontrunners were locked in battle, Gonzalo Borda swung wide aboard the Marcelo Sueldo trainee—presented by Juan Pablo E. Díaz—and swept past with authority.

At the wire, the bay colt bred by Haras Los Turfistas was three lengths clear of El Patio, who narrowly held second over Payucano after their own private duel. The final time of 1:22.19 underscored the quality of Silencio Dramático’sperformance—a stylish and emphatic victory for a stable that simply can’t stop winning.
