Amo Racing Secures Gray Mare for $6.2 Million, Producer of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Winner and Likely Champion 2-Year-Old Colt

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (Special to Turf Diario) — The storied Fasig-Tipton November Sale once again confirmed its status as one of the world’s premier auctions Monday evening, surpassing the $100 million mark in total sales for the fourth time in the last five years.
The session’s highlight came with Streak of Luck (Old Fashioned), dam of unbeaten Ted Noffey (Into Mischief), recent winner of the GI Breeders’ Cup Juvenile and a virtual lock to be named Champion 2-Year-Old Colt of 2025 in the U.S. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency on behalf of Aaron & Marie Jones, the gray mare—carrying to Not This Time—was purchased by Amo Racing for $6.2 million.
“We’re very pleased with the results,” said Boyd Browning, Fasig-Tipton President. “There was strong participation from international buyers and a solid yet rational marketplace. Seeing a mare who entered late and brought such a dramatic update top the sale is extremely gratifying.”
Among the night’s other standouts was Shisospicy (Mitole), fresh off her GI Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint triumph, who sold to Morplay Racing for $5.2 million as a broodmare prospect. Puca (Big Brown), dam of multiple graded winners Mage (Good Magic), Dornoch (Good Magic), and Baeza (McKinzie), also drew major attention, bringing $5 millionfrom the Raging Torrent Syndicate.
The catalog featured 27 horses that reached or exceeded the $1 million threshold, including 16 that sold for $2 million or more. A weanling filly by Justify (Scat Daddy) led that division, bringing $800,000 from Hugo Lascelles, who later also paid $3 million for her dam, Summer Sweet (More Than Ready).
On the South American front, Narvick International went to $700,000 for dual Group 1 winner Edict (Il Campione), who will head to Japan. Meanwhile, Ballado’s Beach (Treasure Beach) failed to meet her reserve, and Serra do Mar(Jump Start), dam of G1 winner Full Serrano (Full Mast), sold for $150,000 to H. Albina Agent.
In all, 138 horses changed hands for a total of $102,027,000, up 36.5% from 2024, with an average price of $739,326, a median of $300,000, and an RNA rate of 22.5%.
