LIMA, Peru (Special for Turf Diario).— Super Lulito exacted revenge on Belmont Collection (Collected) and once again proved he remains one of the most consistent runners at Hipódromo Monterrico, capturing Saturday's Clásico Río Pallanga over 1,600 meters on the dirt.

Guided by Huber Bocanegra, the Argentine-bred son of Super Saver executed a virtually textbook trip. Positioned tracking Belmont Collection—who carried the burden of favoritism after defeating him in their previous clash—he bided his time until turning into the home stretch before launching his bid.

Furlongs from the wire, Super Lulito struck the front with purpose and maintained his advantage through the finish, crossing 1 1/2 lengths clear in a time of 1:38.79. Cyprus The Great (Cyrus Alexander) finished third, while Al Mudir(Accelerate) completed the order of finish.

The victory marked the 12th win in 33 starts for the Juan Humberto Suárez trainee, bred by Haras Firmamento, who brought home another victory for the colors of Stud Jet Set while demonstrating clear progression from his previous outing.
