LA PLATA.— The Especial Jockey Club de Mendoza (1400 m, dirt), the central event this Tuesday at the local racetrack, will boast a stakes-level field and is open to all horses 4 years old and up with 3 or more wins.

A horse of significant ability, Yak Sport (Glory Seattle, 56), aims to add a new victory after dominantly taking the Clásico Jockey Club de Corrientes, defeating El Ernesto (Señor Candy) by 6 lengths within a very strong group. He is the candidate.

Talento Emergente (Hurricane Cat, 56) is going through a great moment, bringing two consecutive wins in this framework—the latest in the Especial Haras Firmamento by 1/2 a length over Notable Island (Lizard Island). The difficulties increase for the Stud Pauli representative, but he has the tools to hold his own.

There will also be two returns to action that are making noise. On one hand, the multiple graded stakes winner Emmspacial Boy (Emmanuel, 58) will travel from Palermo; if he performs as he did in his best afternoons, he could take it all. On the other, Seek Wave (Seek Again, 56), once the best colt of his generation here, will attempt to regain his former glory after an opaque period.

Notable Island (Lizard Island, 54), winner of the local Jockey Club (G3) a couple of seasons ago, is looking to return to a more competitive form at this level, while Bombay Lake (Anjiz Lake, 54) steps up from the allowance ranks with aspirations. Curioso Azteca (Empire Aztec, 54) and Colour Vision (Univisión, 54) complete the field.
