The standout colt from Firmamento has not raced since his runner-up effort in the Polla de Potrillos (G1) at Palermo; the Clásico Paseana (G2) stands as the other major attraction this Saturday

After a week of low-profile activity, major racing returns to the premier tracks. This time it will be the turn of San Isidro, which this coming Saturday will enjoy the Clásico América (G2-1600m, turf) and the Clásico Paseana (G2-1800m, turf), the former for all horses and the latter for fillies and mares, both for 3-year-olds and up.
In the América, the long-awaited return of Drive Joy (Fortify) is expected. One of the top juveniles and three-year-olds of the last season, he was the winner of the Estrellas Juvenile (G1) and runner-up to Gardel Pass (Distinctiv Passion) in the Polla de Potrillos (G1).
The Firmamento representative could clash with multiple G1 winner Earth God (Cosmic Trigger) and G1 winner El Fortín (Il Campione), who steps up in distance following his victory last December in the Gran Premio Félix de Alzaga Unzué (G1).
Don Latido (John F Kennedy), Qué Tarde Gris (Il Campione), Sabiyano (Fortify), and Sargento Morris(Gouverneur Morris) add further class to an attractive field of 11 nominees, which is completed by Last Chance(Hurricane Cat), Mr Mitre (Reride), Touch the Stars (Fortify), and Viejo Varieté (Qué Vida Buena).

The only five entries for the central event were: Dark Gina (In the Dark), Hello Candy (Señor Candy), Look Happy (Hi Happy), Rollanda(Bodemeister), and Winning Wind (Endorsement).
Finally, on Wednesday the 25th, the Clásico Lord At War (L-1200m, dirt) for horses 3 years old and up will provide some quality.
